FAQ for Visitors

Hamburg Messe und Congress will not be continuing the PHOTOPIA Hamburg imaging festival, as it will not be possible to hold the event economically in future in a difficult market environment. Hamburg Messe und Congress has therefore decided to cancel the event in order to give all those involved the greatest possible planning security at an early stage.

We very much regret that PHOTOPIA Hamburg, in which we, our exhibitors and partners have invested a great deal of energy, work and passion, cannot be continued in the future.

However, visitors who are interested in the topics of imaging and content creation will still have the opportunity to obtain information in Hamburg. There will be space for this in the "Content Creator World" as part of the Polaris Convention, which will be held in the Hamburg exhibition halls from 11 to 13 October 2024.
 

1. Can tickets already purchased for PHOTOPIA 2024 be returned? How do I get my money back? 

Yes, the purchase price will be refunded in full.

How to get your money back: We will automatically refund all visitors who have purchased a ticket for PHOTOPIA 2024 online via credit card or PayPal. Please be patient, refunds can take up to two weeks.
 

2. What about flights, train tickets and hotels that have already been booked?

Hamburg Messe und Congress cannot provide any information about contracts with third parties. Please contact your contractual partner company directly.
 

3. Does Hamburg Messe und Congress offer me an alternative to PHOTOPIA? 

Visitors who are interested in topic of content creation will still have the opportunity to obtain information in Hamburg. There will be space for this in the "Content Creator World" as part of the Polaris Convention, which will be held at Hamburg Messe und Congress from 11 to 13 October 2024.
 

4. Is my PHOTOPIA ticket valid for Polaris?

Your ticket for PHOTOPIA 2024 is not valid for the Polaris Convention 2024. You can find the options for your ticket refund under point 1. Tickets for Polaris can be purchased from 4 April on the Polaris-Website.
